Chicken Bread

Ingredients
For Dough
4 cups Flour
1 Tablespoon Instant yeast
2 Tablespoon Powdered milk
1 Teaspoon Salt
4 Tablespoon Oil
1 Egg (beaten)
1 Teaspoon Castor sugar

Ingredients for Chicken filling
1 ½ to 2 cups Chicken boiled and shredded
1 medium or 2 small Onion chopped finely
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Black pepper
2 Tablespoon Coriander leaves
4 Green chilies (chopped)
1 Teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
2 Tablespoon
2 Tablespoon Butter
1 cup Milk

Ingredients for Garnishing
1 Egg (beaten)
Sesame seeds as required

Preparation
Dough
1. In a bowl mix together 4 cups flour, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp castor sugar, 2 tbsp milk powder, 1 tbsp yeast, 4 tbsp oil and 1 egg
2. Knead to a medium soft dough with slightly warm water
3. Leave to rise for 1 hour.

Filling
1. Heat 2 tbsp butter and fry onion till soft
2. Add 2 tbsp flour with 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp garam masala
3. Add the milk, cook till thick
4. Mix in the shredded chicken add chopped green chilies and coriander leaves
5. Remove and cool completely.

Bread
1. Divide the dough into two or three parts depending on what size loaves of chicken bread you want.
2. Roll the dough to a rectangular shape
3. Snip the sides with scissors or a knife
4. Put filling in the centre and fold each side so they overlap each other (like a braid) the filling will show slightly but that’s ok
5. Brush top with beaten egg
6. Sprinkle sesame seeds
7. Bake on 200 degree C for 25 minutes or so.
8. Right after taking out of the oven apply butter well on whole bread and let it rest covered with a cloth for 2-3 min to soften the bread completely.
