Victoria Sponge / Victoria Sandwich

Ingredients

1 Pound Cake – (Optional (and better): Baked a day before
150-180g Butter Cream
300g Strawberry Filling
Icing sugar – For dusting

Preparation

  • Cut the cake from the middle. If you are not willing to cut the cake from the middle, then use two cakes.
  • Spread the butter cream over the bottom of one of the sponges, top it with strawberry filling and sandwich the second sponge on the top.
  • Dust with a little icing sugar before serving.
